Science Officer
The Science Officer's duties are to assist the Science Department in one of the following areas:
First Contact -insure that initial First Contact relations between the Federation and other species go smoothly and do not result in a bad first impression.
Astrophysics -the physics of cellestial bodies, including composition, growth & behavior.
Xenobiology -research of new species, and provide information on existing species.
Stellar Cartography -recording and mapping of new cellestial bodies and astronomical phenomenon
Computer Science -maintain the Computer cores throughout the ship.
General Science -provide assistance in many departmental functions, including manning the Bridge Science Stations when needed.
